PARTNERS AND FRIENDS OF SCGS Several local organizations have been good friends to the Sussex County Genealogical Society.       First is our partnership with the Rehoboth Beach Public Library.  The Library has helped the Society from the beginning and continues to do so.  We have been lucky to be able to use their meeting room and their excellent collection on Delaware history.  The Library grants Society members the ability to check out one genealogical reference book at a time.  We are also fortunate to have a “home” library that subscribes to the Ancestry Library and Heritage Quest software on their computer system.  This is a great resource.   Colonial Roots has been a strong supporter of the SCGS from our beginning.  Colonial Roots is a great resource for genealogical books and research material.  Ed Wright and his daughter, Holly, have been speakers at our meetings and given valuable advice when asked.  Holly was our first web master.
